Donna Livesey

I am a national facilitator on the Sport England Place Leadership programme, sharing the knowledge with new place partnerships. I bring together local leaders, policy and decision-makers to co-create local solutions in the place; whether it’s guiding group discussions, resolving conflicts, or finding innovative solutions to complex challenges. I thrive in environments that require critical thinking and creative problem-solving.  

I am deeply committed to fostering sustainable partnerships, that benefit the community. I believe in the power of collaboration, and I am driven by the desire to create positive, long-lasting change, aligning community needs with available resources and supporting partnerships through shared learning.  

I am an active volunteer on the Burnley Town Board (Long Term Plans for Towns), Chair of Burnley Leisure Culture Trust (A key partner of Pennine Lancashire Together: An Active Future), Chair of Burnley Tennis Club and a Director at Lancashire Women, where I share my professional & volunteering experience to the best of my ability with integrity, versatility, flexibility & sensitivity for the benefit of the system locally.  

My ability to listen actively and understand different perspectives allows me to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and engaged.
