As part of the LGA, I have co-facilitated on two of Sport England’s Place-Based Leadership Programmes in Northampton and Peterborough, supporting councils and Active Partnerships to stop talking about system change and start doing it. I know the challenges—power imbalances, conflicting agendas, and the uphill battle of getting people to listen. My job? To help cut through all that and get people working together in a way that actually makes a difference.

✔ Supporting leadership development – I help Active Partnerships build equity-driven leadership cultures, equipping teams with the skills to navigate complexity, manage relationships, and create lasting change.  

✔ Embedding inclusion & co-production – I support partnerships to actively listen to communities, co-produce strategies, and remove barriers to participation.  

✔ Strengthening systems thinking – I work with leaders to map power, identify gaps, and leverage strengths to build sustainable, community-led approaches to increasing activity levels.
