I left to join Active Essex in 2017, I wrote the bid to secure a Sport England Local Delivery Pilot, then stayed for six years to help deliver the LDP when we were lucky enough to secure one of the 12 spots. The work on the LDP has been so enlightening and creative, working with great people to undertake some courageous leadership together and some real change in Essex.  

I play a leadership role for Active Essex in our LDP deepening work and our 3 new Place Partnerships. I am also a facilitator for the new LGA/Sport England 2-day leadership course being delivered to every Place Partnership.
