Energise Me launch the ‘Engaging Young People: A toolkit’

More and more people and organisations are recognising the importance of engaging with or consulting the people they serve. So, how can we do this?

Energise Me has recently launched the ‘Engaging Young People: A toolkit’. A free resource that aims to help people better listen to and understand the young people they work with.

The toolkit grew from consultations with young people, teachers and coaches. It’s been created to give ideas about how to include young people in the design and delivery of physical activity. After all, young people are experts on their own wants and needs.

It is designed to include the intended audience in the design and delivery of physical activity so that opportunities suit their needs and wants.

There are 30 activities try, including icebreakers, finding out about how young people feel about physical activity, designing a project and gathering feedback for evaluation.
