With the help of Opening School Facilities Funding, Sutton Coldfield students are swapping exercise books for exercise regimes, after a pioneering new fitness facility opened at their school.
John Willmott School – soon to be renamed The Royal Sutton School, received OSF funding and had the opportunity to connect into a local Cross-Fit organisation in their community. They have since been able to open up a not-for-profit CrossFit gym at their school.
Young people and adults from low socio-economic backgrounds will now be able to access the gym after school and later into the evening.
