Anne Brinkhoff

My last substantive role was Corporate Director (Partnerships) at Gloucester City Council with responsibilities for strategic partnerships, organisational transformation and the introduction of asset-based approaches to citizens engagement and service delivery.  

I successfully led the community response to Covid-19 within Gloucestershire through the creation of a Gloucestershire Community Help Hub, a system of street champions; and the creation of local systems to distribute food and support wellbeing in collaboration with many VCS organisations.  

I also co-chaired the Gloucestershire ‘Enabling Active Communities’ Partnership (health, local government and civil society) to explore, fund and bring about more citizen led approaches to promoting health equality.  

I am a certified Coach, NLP Practitioner and systems thinking practitioner.  I set up my own company in 2021 and now offer, facilitation, systems convening, leadership training that focus on working in systems, managing complexity and using innovation & creativity to disentangle entrenched social issues. I am comfortable with being uncomfortable, can ‘hold space’ and find the right balance between ‘letting things happen’ and providing a steer and guidance to start somewhere with creating change.
