Debbie Sorkin

I support individuals and groups at different levels who are looking to address complex, deep-seated problems and issues relating to population health.  The focus is commonly on shifting thinking, finding new approaches and identifying practical actions.     

 I have worked extensively with Active Partnerships. This has included co-designing and delivering systems leadership development programmes; supporting Partnerships to identify a shared purpose with other stakeholders in order to make progress on complex issues; providing individual and team coaching and facilitation; and delivering online masterclasses on different aspects of systems leadership as part of a Partnership’s support programme.  

I also work with the NHS; with local government and public health, including individual local authorities and Mayoral Strategic Authorities; and with the VCSE.  

My approach works well for people who are looking to effect change or work more collaboratively and across boundaries; where resources are constrained and there are no easy answers; and where people need to influence where they don’t have positional authority.
