Opening School Facilities enables St Leonards pupils to be coached by American basketball players

Secondary school pupils from The St Leonards Academy had the chance to receive coaching from three USA basketball players in September.

The US Team Kitsap Admirals players were over in the UK to participate in the annual World Cup Basketball Tournament in Hastings.

The opportunity came about following Open School Funding (OSF) and organisational support from Active Hastings after the school identified little provision for youth basketball in Hastings and St Leonards.
