Active Partnerships thrive on collaboration.
As a network, we join forces with a wide spectrum of national and local partners, aligning our efforts to create the best possible conditions to help make active lives the norm for everyone.
For our network, working in partnership means tailoring initiatives so that they resonate with the unique needs of each community.
Our people are connectors, using their knowledge to help integrate and embed movement, physical activity and sport into local strategies for health, education, crime prevention, active travel and the environment.
The Active Partnerships National Organisation works with partners that can amplify our network’s local knowledge and insights, help us to deliver our programmes, and work with us to increase activity levels in our communities.
We also work with key partners from across several different sectors, especially sport and physical activity, education and health.
The Active Partnerships National Organisation and the 43 active partnerships across England are funded by and work closely with Sport England.
We are also part of the National Sector Partners Group which includes:
Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA)
Sport for Development Coalition
Through working together, we aim to engage decision makers and political stakeholders to ensure that sport, physical activity and movement is embedded as part of wider public policy.
