Applications are now being sought to fill an important vacancy at the Active Partnerships National Organisation (APNO).
The APNO is looking to recruit an experienced and talented evaluation and learning specialist who will oversee evaluation and learning of two key programmes: the Multi-Sport Activity and Facilities Fund Programme and the Sport Welfare Officer Network, as well as support the national team to further develop its internal evaluation and learning strategy.
The Strategic Lead for Evaluation and Learning will join the organisation at an exciting time, with national programmes that aim to make it easier for everyone to enjoy an active life currently being delivered.
Improving how the APNO ‘Evidences Change’ is one of four ambitions set out in its strategy and the organisation is now leading the development of evaluation and learning approaches for programmes supporting safeguarding and welfare across sport, as well as increasing access to multi-sport facilities.
This new role would be suitable for an organised individual who thrives in a strategic and people-focused environment. The ideal candidate will be someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day management of evaluation and learning providers, can prioritise workloads, is personable and enjoys building relationships.

To work alongside this role, we have also recently launched an invitation to tender for a monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) supplier for the Sport Welfare Officer (SWO) network and the Multi-Sport Activity and Facilities Fund.
